Your tasks

  • You will tailor your communication, relationships and advice to each individual and bring your own personality to the role
  • Through practical experience, you will learn to support, care for and guide people of all ages who require care

What you bring

  • Intermediate school leaving certificate or technical college entrance qualification, or lower secondary school leaving certificate with completed vocational training
  • Good health
  • Interest in vocational training and working in a variety of care settings
  • Curiosity, openness and enjoyment of interacting with others
  • Minimum age at start of training: 17 years
  • German language level B2 acquired in German-speaking countries

What we offer you

  • Weekly working hours: 38.5 hours per week
  • Holiday entitlement: 30 days
  • Up to 2 days’ additional holiday

  • Individual support from practical trainers and a training coordinator
  • One trainee event per year (e.g. climbing, canoeing, sailing)

  • The opportunity to study “Applied Nursing Science” at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Freiburg alongside your training over 9 semesters
  • Start dates: 1 April, 1 August and 1 October
