The three-year training programme is offered by the departments of Nursing and Social Inclusion and Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, and begins on 1 September 2026.

2027 Training as a remedial therapist

Your tasks

• You will learn to further develop your professional and personal skills
• You will acquire social-educational and care-related skills and abilities
• You will learn to work and act independently and professionally
• You will learn to support and encourage people, and to assist them in line with their support needs

What you bring

(One of the following criteria must be met:)

• A general or subject-specific university entrance qualification or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, as well as at least six weeks’ suitable full-time practical work in the social or healthcare sector.
• A secondary school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife), experience of running a family household with at least one child for a period of at least three years, and at least six weeks’ suitable full-time practical work experience in the social or healthcare sector.
• A secondary school leaving certificate, at least two years’ vocational training, and at least six weeks’ suitable full-time practical work experience in the social or healthcare sector.
• You are empathetic and communicative, and enjoy working with people
