We are an academic teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Konstanz and provide support to people with mental health conditions through professional services in our wards, day centres, outpatient clinics, sheltered workshops, care homes and shared accommodation schemes.

Occupational therapist (m/f/d) specialising in domestic skills training (inpatient/outpatient) R100/26

Your tasks

• You support and guide people facing a range of mental health challenges
• You will work as part of a multi-professional treatment team under the supervision of a specialist
• The focus will be on working in an open-access inpatient setting; you will also support the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic (PIA) by providing outpatient therapies
• In addition to domestic skills training, you will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and initiatives within our modern premises

What you bring

• You hold a state-recognised qualification as an occupational therapist and already have practical professional experience of working with adults with mental health conditions
• You have knowledge of occupational therapy assessment, or are willing to acquire it
• Excellent ability to work as part of a multi-professional team (doctors, psychologists, nursing staff, specialist therapists)
