A look at the remuneration tables shows how the salary is made up. The respective pay group is stated in the job advert (e.g. KR8 TV-L). The monthly salary can then be found in the appropriate table. The classification is based on professional experience and length of service. There are also various bonuses depending on the area of work and occupational group.
