We are an academic teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Konstanz and provide professional support to people with mental health conditions across a range of settings. The forensic psychiatric unit accommodates people who have been placed there by court order after committing criminal offences as a result of their mental health condition.

Sports Therapist (m/f/d) R78/26

Your tasks

• Sports therapy sessions in individual and group settings
• Contributing to the further development of sports therapy at the MRV
• Contributing to multi-professional therapy planning and implementation
• Collaboration in a sports science research programme

What you bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science or completed vocational training as a state-certified sports teacher
• An interest in working with forensic psychiatric patients
• Enjoyment of working in a multi-professional team
• German language skills suitable for day-to-day ward work (at least B2 level)
• Desirable: previous experience of working with people with mental health conditions or those with a criminal record
