The Forensic Outpatient Clinic of the Forensic Psychiatric Care Division provides forensic aftercare as part of probation supervision and focuses primarily on patients who have been discharged from detention pursuant to Section 63 of the German Criminal Code (StGB). Case management and interdisciplinary working are central to the clinic’s approach.

Your tasks

  • Outreach outpatient care and advice on various topics, such as medication and social issues
  • Independently carrying out nursing duties
  • Carrying out sobriety checks and assisting with compliance with instructions within the framework of probation supervision
  • You will work in close collaboration with the Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, the probation service and institutions within the Community Psychiatric Network
  • Together with the team, you will coordinate and organise the forensic outpatient clinic

What you bring

  • Registered nurse; specialist training in psychiatric nursing or relevant professional experience would be desirable
  • Ideally, prior experience in forensic psychiatry
  • Ability to build professional relationships across a wide range of areas (home visits, consultations, support, contact with families)
  • Enjoyment of carrying out and organising nursing tasks independently (administering long-acting medication, PIA, etc.)
  • A Category B driving licence is desirable for carrying out home visits
