
Psychotherapists
in training
We are a recognised internship centre for psychotherapists in training and have corresponding cooperation agreements with behavioural therapy, systemic and depth psychology training institutes.
We offer psychologists the opportunity to complete Practical Activity I (1,200 hours) and Practical Activity II (600 hours) as part of their training to become a psychological psychotherapist.
Practical work follows the organisational and content-related recommendations of the official agreement between the ZfP Reichenau and the Baden-Württemberg State Chamber of Psychotherapists.
The aim of this agreement is to create uniform standards with regard to employment contracts, remuneration, qualified guidance and working conditions. Among other things, it includes the gradual, more intensive involvement of trainees in psychotherapeutic treatment and the independent performance of these treatments under supervision.
Your guidance and supervision as a psychotherapists in training will be provided by qualified licensed psychological psychotherapists or by appropriately psychotherapeutically trained medical specialists. As part of your practical work at ZfP Reichenau, participation in training-related events is also supported.
Your tasks according to station /
- Admission interviews
- Crisis intervention, individual psychotherapeutic counselling and discussions with relatives
- Therapeutic case management from admission to discharge report
- Participation in all inpatient team meetings and ward rounds
- Carrying out group therapies
- Diagnostics
Admission requirements /
- Diploma or Master's degree
- Training contract in the field of VT, TP or systemic therapy with a cooperating training institute
You will receive both an internship contract for one half of the total employment with a remuneration of €100 per 10%, as well as employment as a psychologist in accordance with TV-L EG 13 for the other half of the total employment. In total, a working time of 80-100% spread over at least four weekdays is desired.
Once you have received an employment contract in accordance with the TV-L, you will be subject to the same working conditions as all psychologists at ZfP Reichenau and will become an integral part of our service system. This includes on-call duty from Monday to Sunday from 16:00 to 20:00, as well as on-call duty at weekends and on public holidays from 12:00 to 16:00, which is remunerated in line with the collective agreement.
